Exhaust bracket.

Hello.
Just fiited the exhaust to 1969+2s all worked out quite well ,the only small problem i have is the gearbox mouting bracket , do you use a flexible strap to the gearbox bracket or is it a fixed mouting from exhaust pipe to bracket .

I have a rigid mounting as the manifold & gearbox are both rigidly attached to the engine.

I beleive the original design was a triangular shaped bracket that picked up a couple of the gearbox to tail housing connection bolts and then a rigid steel tab welded to the exhaust pipe that bolted to the bottom of that triangular bracket.
