S4 Twin Box Exhaust Mounting Question

I am trying to determine the correct mounting of the rear exhaust fitted to an S4 Elan (twin box type). Whilst I have resolved the rear most bracket detail, there does not appear from the Parts Manual to be a support/hanger forwards of the actual boxes. The previous owner has manufactured a bracket to support the exhaust at this point but I do not feel that this is original (although I could be wrong here). The attached photo of the exhaust removed illustrates the existing mount.

If anyone could provide a photo and /or details of the original bracket I would be grateful.

I am not aware of a support/hanger forwards of the twin boxes (silencers).
The only exhaust system supports I know of are at the rear of the twin silencers and at a bracket fastened to the gearbox.

My S4 only had the support at the rear of the twin silencers.

The bracket you show in your photo is similar to the bracket on my 1973 plus 2 which is located at the front of the silencer ( single in this case), the plus 2 had no rear bracket and I do not believe is original, though anyting is possible with a Lotus.

My S4 rear sliencer is locally fabricated but the attached photo shows the backet arrangement I made. I used the same washers and rubber components as used in the diff torque rods, the through bolt connects to the original steel bracket in side the boot.
