Mathew ---I think you missed my reply -- --send in your wrenches --I know because I purchased a perfectly good weber head very cheaply from some twit with a 1/2 wrench and the brain power of a rock -- who thought like these people and managed to break off the stud end on the head while 'stopping an intake air leak'---a good welder and some judicious file work saved the head thats on my super 7 now -- -and REBS question ----spacing the thackery washers with a feeler gauge creates an even torque around the 'O' rings and prevents over stressing the ears on the head and seals the carbs against the sealing faces evenly -and always use nylock or vibration proof nuts ----I have used lock or split washers in a pinch [no pun]------because Kiwis are my favorite people in the world [next to extremely loose women] I have withdrawn my caustic comment ------[ear ear ]- this may go another 11 pages -----ed
