muffler backfire

PostPost by: frankyb » Thu Oct 09, 2008 9:17 pm

my 69+2 was running fine sine replacing my new webbers last month, drove the car all day fine, parked it for 1hour, the when i started her up the motor was running awfull, minimal respond when giving gas ,and lots of backfie when letting go of the gas pedal. I suspect either condensation in the cap or problem with the gas pump? Would like to here you're opinion.

Check the timing. It may be that the distributor was loose and moved or some problem with the rotor.
