I search information of the use of an external electrical water pump with the twin-cam engine. If anyone has done such a conversion, I would appreciate any information?
Brand/type?
Where to buy?
Experience?
Should the original pump be removed?

Hi
I was thinking about one of these kits for my plus 2 a while back, but crashed before I had made a decision. I liked the ability of the pump to run slow or fast depending on water temperature and thought that it would help the car warm up more quickly, which was a major issue for me at the time. In reality I do not think that it would have made a great difference.
From memory I think that another plus was that the pump could shift greater volumes of water than the standard arrangement, so was much better in traffic, and on track days etc.

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.
