Clutch pressure plate

Hi
I posted a question about friction plate dimenwsions but on reflection a different question might be the way to get the info.
Does anybody iknow for certain just how much the centre "boss" (if that's what it's called) on the clutch cover depresses when the clutch pedal is pressed to the floor.
Why do I need to know such a seemingly useless bit of info?
I'm trying to find out if there's a risk of the release bearing being pushed off over the end of the guide sleeve (because I'm using a guide sleeve that doesn't extend the usual distance because the splines start further back on the input shaft of this particular box.
Also- on the friction plate how far does the splined section stand proud of the flywheel face of the friction plate- I need this info to make sure the friction plate sits the whole length of its splines.
The info would be very helpful.
Regards and thanks
John
