clutch pedal

On my plus 2, on depressing the clutch there is a loud "clicking noise" on the very first movement, what can that be ?, also i notice, i can move the pedal upwards after taking foot off about 1 inch, is that normal ?, there is no trouble with the clutch working !.

I would say that the clicking noise is one of the push-rods (master or slave cylinder)seating into position,no major problem,as for the pedal extra movement that is no problem either..
