LR Chassis Number

Are the LR numbers traceable to manufactured date ?. Doubtful I know but just curious.

There was a thread a couple of weeks back and it appeared there was a date just in front of the chassis no. May not be a standard thing though. Can you post a pic?

It's a Plus 2. The date may be below the GRP, is it normally in front of the LR if it's there ?

My S4 LR “sub frame” hasn’t got a date that I can see. However, Andy Graham was able to tell me a date it was supplied. He was also able to confirm the name of the dealer who originally ordered it.
