Are Plus 2 RHD and LHD chassis identical?

As per the title: I have searched the archives but haven’t been able to find the answer to the question: are Plus2 LHD and RHD chassis identical? I am talking of the earlier type ’67, ’68.

Yes, but Lotus charged extra for the rainbow paint and left handed screwdrivers used to finish and build them. Then there was the extra charge for the long weight (wait) accrued by the purchaser.
