Spyder chassis vs Lotus chassis weight

PostPost by: danwasdahl » Sun Jan 17, 2016 8:17 pm

Both the same at 97 pounds according to my bathroom scale. I stood on it holding each chassis in turn, subtracted my weight.

interesting they said it was heavier, but I never measured...........maybe years of patches and built up grease make the difference

I dont know if you are light or heavy but are you sure that the two identical weights that were shown by your bathroom scales was not the maximum weight that they can measure?

If it was a round figure in pounds or kgs or the equivalent in one of a round figure in the other then its likely to be the maximum.

The bathroom scale is analog, max 300 pounds. Read 270 pounds both times. I'm 173 pounds in winter gear.
