Hi
Whilst fitting my solid driveshafts I noticed I had different amount of clearance between the tyre and the bottom of the spring platform. The nearside only has about 10mm while the offside has 20mm.it is a spyder chassis is this ok .Seems a bit odd.Any ideas whats going on.
Thanks Arthur

Hmm start by swapping the wheels, to make sure your rims don't have different offsets

Having just re-mounted my s3 body on a spyder chassis, I was aware from various postings, (and, sure enough, when I did a trial fit) that there is approx 1 cm of side to side "wriggle room" at the rear of chassis (not at the front, which is held firmly between two turrets). Perhaps the person who fitted the spyder chassis was not aware of this, so your body is not quite centred at the rear. Anyway, still suggest you do the wheel swap above and at least remove different wheels as a potential cause. And check that body is centred on the chassis. Then if both of those check out, time to start looking at hubs and bearings as potential areas of discrepancy.
