Quick question for a Saturday morning...how do I know if I have a Lotus or Spyder chassis?

The lotus one will be folded steel, the spyder one is (at least in part) a tubular spaceframe. Look either side of the engine block and you should be able to tell. There's an example of a spider chassis if you follow the "The moral of the story is..." thread in Free Parking at the mo.

The Lotus and Spyder stressed skin chassis are very similar, but the easy way to identify the difference is that Lotus has a square pressed steel vacuum chamber where the Spyder had a heavy round steel tube.
