Chassis inspection plug/hole...

Innes,
Finally got around to taking photos. I agree with Gordon's comments regarding the hole location. Mine is an August 1971-build Federal +2S. The hole is mine measures 3 9/16" diameter and is almost perfectly co-axial with the corresponding hole in the chassis. The hole is the chassis is larger and so cannot be seen in these images. My engine and gearbox are out right now, hence no u-joint to be seen, just the very filthy inside if the backbone section.
