Spyder chassis vs Lotus chassis weight

Both the same at 97 pounds according to my bathroom scale. I stood on it holding each chassis in turn, subtracted my weight.

I dont know if you are light or heavy but are you sure that the two identical weights that were shown by your bathroom scales was not the maximum weight that they can measure?
If it was a round figure in pounds or kgs or the equivalent in one of a round figure in the other then its likely to be the maximum.

The bathroom scale is analog, max 300 pounds. Read 270 pounds both times. I'm 173 pounds in winter gear.

My standard chassis weighed 45kg(99lbs) prior to modifications.
