Door Frame Screws S4

PostPost by: AHM » Wed Feb 05, 2014 9:25 pm

Hi All,
Looking at the end of the door there are 4 1/4UNF csk screws holding the catch on, and 3 holes for securing the frame to the door.

What are the screws that go in the holes?

Thanks

Simon,
They are bolts and washers, Sue Millers catalogue describes them as Window frame to interior of door bolt @ 25P

Mine are a bit more like the dash board screws. Rounded and chromed

Hi Alan
I would not jump to quickly to that conclusion. There is no such thing as a modification - just factory approved variations ( when they ran out of the intended part  ) or after factory variations :D which every Elan has some of by now I think ( even if it is only the air in the tires)

cheers

Same slotted screw on the S3 and S4, neither car having been restored.

You have the SuperSprint modification, Alan...a very rare enhancement. :D
