Jacking points - spyder chassis

The car I have just bought has an early spyder chassis.
Can anyone suggest jacking points ( I don't want to trust the sill points)?

Chris, depends:-

At home in the workshop with the right jacking equipment, lift under the front tubular chassis member. You will need a long reach very low profile trolley jack (or drive the car on to say 2" thick planks first). At the rear, make a piece of wood that fits inside wishbone and that will spread the load and jack there. Again you will need a low height jack.

On the side of the road, unless you want to cart round a large and heavy low reach jack and grovel in the dirt etc, then you will need the sill members, jacking points integral with the sill members and a jack with a peg that fits inside, all in good condition. In any case if the sill members are in good condition, then you can relax in the knowledge that the seat belt anchors are secure!!!
