Servo Non Return valve

Hi, all,
Not convinced my servo is working - have done all the pedal pressure checks etc and headlamps work fine so no basic vacuum issues i guess.
I have noticed the plastic non return valve into the servo is very loose/spins - is this normal or should it be a tight fit?
Just checking before I order..

With the engine off, wait a few minutes and press the brake pedal. If you can hear the vacuum being exhausted, then it is working - how well t is working can be determined for a) how long after engine switch off you can hear it, and b)how many presses of the pedal produces the same sound.

If you cannot hear any vacuum expelled, then it could be non return valve, but also a few other things as well. Maybe time for a complete overhaul.

Hi there

There should be a rubber grommet in the servo body which holds the non-return valves in place and makes a seal when it's pushes in. It might be just worth checking this is still in good order or hasn't been dislodged.
