Any UK based company offer exchange rear calipers?

Classicar Automotive probably do the refurbs for many of the usual suspects.

Not exchange as such, but I did get a nos rear calliper from Paul Matty's just over a year ago. He had a limited number of them. It was about ?85 for the bare calliper. I got them to send it direct to Classicar automotive to match the one I had there already. Great service as always.

Thanks for all your replies. I use Classicar Automotive but their lead times are long. I wanted to rebuild the brakes on the back of my S3, it's not critical and can wait till next winter. I was hoping to do a quick swap but I guess thats not possible.

May I ask what condition your S3 callipers in? Are the hand brake mechanisms loose?

I may have a solution for you if you are still interested.

Regards,

Pete.

Hello Pete,

Thanks for your message.

The calipers are fine, they work well and the handbrake mechanism seems ok.

I am intrigued!!!!
