Problems with recurring air in the brake system

Hello,

I have an Elan + 2 Year of construction 1969 braking system with a single circuit. If the car is not being driven longer (more than 2 months), it is now happened repeatedly that air is accumulated in the brake system and the brake pedal falls down. If I deflate the system escapes at the rear axle air and everything is ok.

I can not explain how the air comes into the brake system to me.
During the restoration of about 3 years ago, a new brake booster and a new master brake cylinder was installed. The calipers were dismantled and reassembled with new pistons and seals. The brake hoses were not used hoses from older production.
With several visual inspections no leaks are observed.

As the air comes into the system ?. Can it be that the brake hoses have become porous due to your age and thus air enters from outside to inside?

Did any of you ever had the same problem?

Is the new brake booster a Lockheed type, and if so, is it installed at the correct angle ?

If it isn't angled upwards you will get all sorts of air in the system issues as it is difficult, if not impossible, to bleed.

It is a servo type Gerling. That servo is mounted on the original mounting plate. I make today or tomorrow, a photo and place it here.

I had a similar problem with a Girling MK2B servo, it initially bled up fine but after being stood for six months my brakes went very spongy, on closer inspection i found air in all four corners so i had a closer look at the servo and found it had fluid in the vacuum can. So it was rebuilt.........

Girlings are very temperamental....

@ Grizzly, how did you locate that there was brake fluid in the vacuum can?

Please find enclosed the pictures of my brake servo. I can not imagine that the mounting position has something to do with my problem.
