Which is the correct Hand Brake Lever

I'm close to installing the body on the chassis. I went to restore and install the hand brake cable. None of what I have are in very good condition. But I don't know which one to use. I had no idea the hand brake handle assembly had two different length housings. Which one is correct for a 66 S2 SE? See Pic.
Many thanks,

The middle one looks like the one in my '68 S3, with the handbrake warning lamp switch on the lower end. So if you have a warning lamp on your dash, that would be what I'd fit. The handle looks similar to the one shown as well.
The top one also looks to have the boss (nut) to add a warning lamp switch but the shortened length makes me wonder if it's been cut shorter by a PO in an attempt to give longer travel & hence less frequent cable adjustment. There was a service bulletin about cutting the handbrake tube to do exactly that for the Europa so maybe someone just tried a similar trick ?

A word of warning Sandy, the Europa handbrake is different to the Elan's although it's still an umbrella type. I'll try to attach the PDF bulletin so you can see what was done.

All three have the boss for the warning light, although not easily seen in the photo. The shorter one does not appear to have been shortened by a PO. I'm wondering if there are different lengths for different Elan models or Series, and which one is correct for the 66 S2 SE?
Thank you, Frank
