New Castrol GT LMA brake fluid formula?

Hello,
Does anyone have the lowdown on suitability of the new Castrol GT LMA synthetic brake fluid? The old formula has been off the shelves for months, and the new fluid states it exceeds DOT 3 and DOT4, and is synthetic. It is also a different color. Anyone?

try contacting Castrol Technical - i have always found them most useful - i only have the general number 01793 512712 - you will ask for the technical dept - note this is not the 'classic oil' division

That's a good idea. I'll try to find the US office to telephone, or maybe I can muddle through with emails to them.

Just got off the phone (800-462-0835) with a BP/Castrol rep, and was told that the only change has been to tweak the existing formulation to slightly raise the boiling point to 329F, and a new label to tell consumers the product is synthetic. I was told that GT LMA has always been synthetic, but that Castrol wanted to be sure that the majority of consumers, who are driving contemporary cars, know they are buying a contemporary fluid, hence the addition of the word "synthetic" on the label. The actual constituents in the fluid remain the same, and I was assured the product is still safe for rubber seals and British hydraulic bake and clutch systems.

I use Castrol SRF and this works very well and is compatible with the seals.
