What is the easiest way to put brakediscs back on again. I have spent the entire evening out in the garage cursing the i**ot that took them of in the first place as it is one hell of a job to get them back on. When all my knuckles were bleeding I quit for today, now I am wondering how to do it in the least painfull way. Any suggestions? My car is not fitted with U-joints.
Thanks.

My one problem is that distance keeps me from my Elan. (36/5395)

I presume your problem is getting the disc over the 3 legged spider without it fouling on the lower A frame. With the strut at full droop this can be a problem, it helps to jack up the strut. Altenatively you can remove the A frame at the outer end and drop it down out of the way until you have the disc fitted.
