+2 Dual circuit master options

I can't find a good photo but I think there is only a few mm space at the mounting end and upward slope that closes the gap toward the rear of the master. I know I can't get my fingers under the master. So I believe that master will not fit, even with no fluid connections fitted! Will see if i can get a photo but believe any kind of bottom connection master is out of the question.
The triumph past supplier responded we a very unhelpful "I?m sorry but we do not offer the part you have requested." with out any reference back to what they don't offer, a reservoir a none slopping master reservoir a master for a Lotus Elan +2 (which I didn't ask for) etc....

Hi Mark, if you are looking for a new Spitfire master cylinder I bought mine from an E Bay supplier. I could probably confirm which one if it is of help? I never enquired about another resevoir and would not be too optomistic about the availability. There appears to be a lot of different resevoirs with different hole centres and sizes and fittings! If you do find one I would be delighted to know the source . Cheers , Lyn...

Thanks Lyn, there not problem getting hold of the master. It's the flat reservoir or alternative master they aren't available.
If I do find an alternative reservoir I will let you know.

You will have to shorten the 2 bolts in order to get clearance for the AN 3-1/8" pipe adapters to fit in the sides of lower portion. I also removed the bench bleed fittings and plugged them with 1/8" plugs.

Thanks Colin. I'd got in my head the Europa had a 0.75" master not 0.70" but now not sure about that. Interesting that it's not listed against the +2 if it is 0.7".
You're right about not cheap I am probably looking at $250 to get it here. The spitfire is $70-80, so it's a big difference. I am getting very close to pulling the trigger on the spitfire unit....

I think I have a complete Girling Tandem master cylinder including the reservoir. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll go search for it in my parts bin. I'm sure it would need a seal kit and rebuild to be serviceable.
