Handbrake handle for S3

My pre airflow coupe does not have any handbrake mechanisms at all and I've recently acquired
two push button hand brake mechanisms, but the white button location is different on each.
As viewed from the front, one has the push button on the left and the other, on the right.

I *think* I need the one with the button on the right, for my LHD car. Can I get a Yea or Nay on this?

I'd vote yea, as one can just about see it is to the right on my '68 S4se on the photo below:
