Lost the brake pedal twice - ? servo

In the process of getting to know my early Plus 2 - the brake pedal has gone a couple of times briefly - only once in my presence, when the engine was off - maybe a servo problem? Advice welcomed.

Master or servo or both. Got any brake fluid leaks? Does it require you pump the brake pedal to stop?

Bin the servo. Drive with caution until you do.
Cheers,
Pete.

If by lost the brake pedal you mean it went to the floor ? then what happened next - did you pump it and it returned to normal height? Is the Servo working and you are not loosing fluid?
If all that is the case then it is probably the valve at the end of the master cylinder piston to the reservoir that is worn or had some grit under it. A master cylinder rebuild and system flush should fix it.
cheers

Thanks - only happened once for me and pedal came back with a couple of pushes and engine on - checked out the master cylinder today and full of sludge in the bottom - time to invest in a new one and some clean fluid I think.
