Brake pipe routing

Hi all
I'm just putting new brake pipes on my 1968 +2 restoration. I'm not sure where the front n/s pipe runs.
I've posted a photo of where I think it goes but could someone please confirm I av it in the right place before I start bending it.

Ian, It looks as if you need to move it a bit more towards the brake, so that you can ease it to & fro a bit while screwing it onto the flexible pipe

Also worth bearing in mind if you keep the power assisted brakes the feed line will come down the left hand side of the engine bay. So you'll have another brake line to route across the front cross member. You may want this pipe in front or behind of the current depending on connection angles etc.

If you decide not to go with the power brakes then you could run the line straight down the right hand side of the engine bay from the master cylinder instead of the standard 3 sides of the engine bay route.

For some reason mine are running in front of the front cross member, I always thought it wasn't the best routing. I'll have to see about reposition them when I have better access.

Mine,a 1974 130/5 runs behind the vac reservoir and in front of the engine.

The tabs, on my '70, +2 (fed), were welded to the back side of the vacuum tank/cross member, and the line ran very close to the crank pulley.

Due to my zetec conversion, I moved them to the top of the tank in very much the same position as the top two posters' pictures.
