brake caliper options front and rear

hi,

Just wondering what the brake caliper options are for the plus two used for hill climbing/club racing.
if you strip the car to the bare essentials and would have a power output up to 160 HP do you need better brakes than standard or not? I would like to stay away of brake calipers without dust covers. What about cortina brakes, can you use these or is that a waste of time. all information appreciated

Standard brakes with suitable competition pads should be fine for almost all competition use. The only real reason to change would be if looking for lighter unsprung weights.
