Handbrake

PostPost by: cdraper » Mon Jun 20, 2005 5:15 pm

In prior topics there was a dicussion on handbrakes, I followed the advice and fitted push off springs, and replaced the Lotus cross control rods by new ones with small ball joints on the ends. I have just returned from the T?V - Mot to you and the rear brakes were 190/170 daN and the handbrakes 170/150 (front brakes both 210). This means I now have a decen  :D t handbrake and hopefully the push off springs will reduce wear and the need for adjusment. Thanks to those who posted the original comments to set me on the right track.

I've searched right through these pages and can't find the original string..plus I'd really like to sort my handbrake out. Living in Yorkshire is proving beyond a handbrake designed in Norfolk.

I'd be grateful for the opriginal link
