Where's "shooting brake" from? The French have a similar term.
We say station wagon and I figured that was a carryover from conastoga wagon, what with beaverwood and all.

I first heard "Shooting Break" being used by Aston Martin.
It basically meant you could go shooting with it as it could carry a couple of shot guns and a pair of labradors in the back.
