Does anyone have a spare master cylinder?

PostPost by: iain.hamlton » Fri Jun 30, 2006 7:08 pm

Does anyone have a good + 2 brake master cylinder (early, single circuit)within a hour or so of Fleet in Hampshire? Or a service kit? It would great to fix it over the weekend! Alternatively, Do you know the Girling part number, or what else it was fitted to, to allow me to try and get one from a motor factor...

Many thanks, Iain

Thanks, Brian.

Good idea, but it only lists one Master cylinder, so that might be the dual-circuit unit fitted to federal cars. Do you know of other cross-references?

Thanks for that. Worth a try at the auto factors... I wonder if they'll have any of them.

Iain,
Just been looking through my notes and I have down:
+2....early.....SP2501
late.......SP2589
....and now I've found more notes that say SP2485 which ties up with the X reference, probably my bad hand writing
