+2 rear brake rebuild

Just finished rebuilding the front brakes on my 1970 +2. Removed rear brakes for rebuild, trying to remove parking brake assembly from the caliper. How do you remove the pivot pin, it appears to have a threaded hole in the center of each pivot pin. The manual has no guidance, any ideas?
