Hi There
As per title, is this an early + 2 steering column? Does anyone have a pic that shows the clamp arrangement please? I have so many parts in so many boxes (from 3 cars) that I have not got a clue anout anything anymore!
There is no lower support, is that right?
Pics below.....Many thanks

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Yes, an early column.
See photos below for bracket which fits to the 2 long bolts shown in your photos, with several flat spacers in between, to ensure that the switch ‘binnacle’ doesn’t touch the dashboard.
If you don’t have a workshop manual, you need to get one.
No support at bottom, but there is a sealing plate to the bulkhead.

Hello
Thank you. That really helps. Now I just have to find the parts.
I had a workshop manual until recently but unfortunately the container it was in got flooded and I did not notice for a while......
Must get another as you say.
All the best

Hi Berni,
That doesn't look quite right to me.You appear to be missing the bracket at the top of the outer column that the indicator/headlight switch fastens on to.
Here's pictures of the column from my early car (Jan 68).
Note that the indicator cancelling cam fits lower down on the splined section.
