If it's a Plus 2, and not an 'S', then as far as I'm aware the only badges are Elan +2 on the front left wing, a nose badge and L O T U S on the boot.

Elan +2 on the front left wing
FWIW mine has got an "Elan +2" badge on the front right wing too. I am second owner having bought the car in 1976 so I guess its possible the first owner added it is possible but unlikely.
Cheers

I think the early +2 had an " Elan +2" badge on the rear panel between rear lights towards the right.

I've never seen a Plus 2 of any age with badges on each wing.
Alan - that's correct but I think it was the very early Carello light versions which had one on the rear panel too - never looked 'right' to my eye.
My June '68 had no evidence of any rear panel badge when I stripped all the paint

Hi Jono,
The 1968 +2, 1970 +2S and 1973 +2S130 all had "elan+2" badges on both front wings.
My 1970+2S also had a "S" badge on left back wing only and black bonnet badge.
Lotus were certainly good at "badge engineering" lol.
I think we could chat for a full evening about badges over some beers lol.

Strange that as I own a 1968 Plus 2 and owned a 1970 S both of which I stripped back to bare fibreglass and there was no evidence of filled holes in the RH wing (and both had never had crash repair).
...but as we know Lotus had little consistency.
My 1973 JPS also had no RH Elan +2 wing badge - but did have the anniversary badge on that side

Working on a 1970 +2 with a manufacture date of Apr. 1969 (not a S). Badges- nose badge, boot LOTUS letters, between the front wheel well and front door edge badge ELAN+2. Front corners ahead of the wheel well amber reflectors. Behind the rear wheel well, red reflectors.
Hope that this helps,
Richard
