Volt Meter - No Movement!!

Hi all, wonder if you can help not the most mechanically minded of people…
My volt meter in my Plus 2 seems completely dead - there is no sign of a reading and no movement when the ignition is turned in.
I am assuming that this means that it is something wrong with the meter as opposed to the alternator?
What is the easiest way to check/access this?
TIA

Start by finding someone willing to work on the car. They will start by seeing if the meter is getting a feed to read. A bad connection the most likely cause.
We are supposed to be having fun, are we not?

You need to figure out the right wiring diagram for the car and track down the feed for it.
I had this on my car, s130 with in dash fuses, I'd blown the far right fuse that feeds the gauge, reverse lights and brake lights.
