What is this Part? Boot?

In one of my Boxes of my +2S 130 Project i found this Part (see picture) I am not shure where to place this Part.
Maybe the operation Wire for the Boot mechanism? Any Ideas or even pictures?

I can’t confirm without approximate dimensions but this part looks suspiciously like the accelerator pump linkage on a standard Ford single barrel carburetor fitted to regular Ford crossflow engines. Not a Lotus part at all.
