Hi everyone, just introducing myself and my late father Brian Mullans' 1973 plus 2.
It was manufactured in 1972, but first registered 1973 by our local Lorus dealer at the time, Malcolm Templeton. The car was purchased by my father in 1982 and through time it had a complete refurbishment, was strengthened in the areas where the shell was prone to stressing, around the headlamps, boot hinges etc, everything shot blasted, renewed and then waxoyled.
It has its original Oatmeal interior, carpets, seats, door panels etc all in lovely condition, it's original chassis, running gear etc, and the engine was rebored to 1760cc and fully refurbished, new clutch fitted, absolutely everything was renewed or refurbished.
It still has its original metal flake roof, Wolfrace rims and the original N.I registration number. The car has 60k on the clock but has covered less than 10k since its rebuild. Drives perfectly.
I'm contemplating selling it as its not used very often and I'm moving home soon and may not have the room to store it.
The car is in the sales section if anyone is genuinely interested.
Many thanks
Paul

Cheers, unless I get what I consider the car to be worth I'll just hold onto it in the meantime.
