Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

I intended to but never fitted them im my plus 2 but had them in my Mk1 Mini and they were so comfortable.

Like you, I feel naked without a head restraint, and like you considered the Federal might have been an answer, but problems sourcing them.
I hunted around for something. Almost everything I looked at were lighter which was a bonus. In the end I went for a seat made by BF Torino as an aftermarket early Porsche replacement. The back cants forward and as it is two cms narrower than the Elan, the seat slides much better. Modifying the seat runners was not difficult.

Those Torinos look great but they aren't cheap.
