Lotus Elan +2 Zetec Spyder

PostPost by: nickruss » Wed Jan 22, 2020 7:12 am

I'd like to share a few clips I threw together of this beautiful 1971 Plus 2S that's had a conversion using the Spydercars chassis and then brought up to standard by W.D. Wins in Wales. Took it for a test drive around the lanes and was blown away by the sound she makes, the handling and how grown up this little car felt.

Jon - yes, I’ve put a deposit on her.

Thanks John - I’ll get the wipers and a few other niggles like the panel lights done before I pick it up hopefully start of Feb!

Jacob engineering in Huntley Gloucestershire make and sell reproduction steering wheels. If you are patient an original might come up for sale on this site.

Hope this helps,

Cracking looking car and what a great noise. I am building one at the moment so pleased to see it has a good engine noise.
