Welcome aboard.
There is a dimensional drawing available if you need to make up new Plus 2 floorboards. They are fabricated using 3/16? plywood IIRC. I added perimeter 3/4? x 3/4? batten strips for rigidity and to provide additional vertical clearance for the battery. Commonly available batteries in NA are too tall for the stock mounting location. This results in a lot of NA cars having the boot floor panels cut to accommodate the battery.

One suggestion regarding battery wiring. I would strongly advise moving the main ground cable from the boot floor-to-frame bolt to the body mounting bolt that threads directly to the right side frame tower behind the rear seat. This is a way better ground attachment and away from road debris.

I was able to find a Honda Civic battery size and I don?t know what it is offhand that fit on the boot floor and in that little cut out area without having to cut into the boards and then on mine there was a bobbin that with that battery also was correctly located and I ran a securing L-shaped bracket from there with the other side of the battery secured by the wall of the trunk/boot. FWIW, I've got an Odyssey PC925 battery that, while too wide to fit down into the recess in the floor, is still well-below the level of the floor supports. The original battery-fixings were gone before I got the car, so I have to fab-up something anyway regardless of what battery.
