Starting some much needed work

Hello all it's been a while, last night I decided to start working on my +2 it's a snail of a process. Nevertheless, I've started with removing the break boosters with the master cylinders, the eng cover and this morning I added the carbs with all the platting and the adapters for media blasting. And a complete rebuilding of the cabs. It's on, wish me luck.
Some parts are needed to be ordered and on and on........

Good luck! I got some good advice in a thread on my stromberg carb rebuild a few months ago: viewtopic.php?f=40&t=41122
I ended up rebuilding to 3322 spec with variable needles and replacement jets - and am very happy with the results.

Purchase a 1970 Elan +2 last week, the journey begins. Starting in the boot which is bare, just a positive and negative battery cable. Would you be able to provide pictures of what this area should look like? Battery mount, spare tire mount, plywood panel.
Will be attempting to start this week end, finger crossed
