driving lamp switches

Does anybody know of another, fairly common application for the 2 switches
that control the driving lights of a +2?

I have found by opening up them and cleaning contacts,most of time it saves trying to find near impossible switches

One of mine might clean up...the other is "knackered" mechanically.
I just received a set of underdash fiberglass bits from Kelvedon. I can
make square, or round holes at this stage
