Nice looking car Dougal. I have been waiting since the end of April for paperwork. I telephoned them today to be advised that it was posted out last week in April. They're going to send it out again

The seats are Fiat X1/9. 99p the pair ready restored in a black period jumbo cord! They have head restraints and the back hinges forward rather than the seat but no recline mechanism. A bit of a pain to fit since the runner mountings are further back relarive to the seat than the Lotus ones. They seem to suit the car well though.

Phoned DVLA this morning re. issue of V5C to replace my V5 mentioning that it was sent in 8 weeks ago.
Suprisingly they were able to confirm receipt and tell me that it was with the relevant department awaiting some vehicle details in order to update the record. Asked how much longer this might take I was asked to hold, then informed that the person dealing with the documents said the required details should be available in a week or two.
I think the rough translation is that the V5 is lying on someones desk but now that I've phone they better do something about it!
