First post: Elan Plus 2 model history?

Hi,

I've just registered here, as I'm in the process of looking for a Plus 2. Stupid question, but can anyone please point me in the direction of a definitive model history for the Plus 2? I've looked online and have found only sketchy details. I'm trying to understand how each model came as standard and the factory / dealer fit options.

Welcome Steve,

Best option would be to try and get a copy of the Authentic Lotus Elan and Plus 2 by Paul Robinshaw and Christopher Ross which details pretty much everything. In the meantime try here:

Which gives a basic outline of mode history with photographs.
