Finally looking at her best.

Couldn't resist posting a photo now she's finally looking better than she has for years.
Have just had fitted a new chrome windscreen surround, the old one having gone a dull creamy silver with wrinkles. The recently acquired alloys are now refurbished with new 175/70 Firestones, the sill trims no longer flap thanks to new clips, and the Lotus Yellow paint and chrome are now polished to death.
Maybe, just maybe, once a few little details are finished on the interior, for the first time in 6 months I may have a little time to finally spend with the pink one and not spend all night in the garage with the yellow one
Mark.

Looking really sharp, Mark, and surely the best colour for an Elan
I rather like the sun roof as well. I think you'll find that there will always be something to do in the garage, so don't build up her hopes just yet!

Hi Mark,
The +2 (better get that in first) has scrubbed up really well. they do look good with a sheen, only thing though is that now you have got it to that standard, you have to keep it up. Good luck with all things Lotus and I look forward to seeing you again at some rally somewhere, if not a Club Lotus meeting.
