Plus 2 unavailable parts projects

PostPost by: pmallinson » Tue Apr 15, 2008 1:10 am

Gents

I have decided to sell the +2 and all my spares for the same and will hence not be such a frequent visitor to the elan web from here on in I suppose.

I will however continue the pursuit for the new front indicator castings with the two companies in China and the one in the UK, I have to say though its desperately slow and communications can be very difficult even frustrating at times. IF I do manage to secure a company who will do them the I will happily pass all the information on through this forum and via email to anyone who wishes to take up the final procurement of these OR I will continue as planned and get some then pass them on to you at the cost to me (plus small increment for work packaging etc).

There will be the +2 complete with brand new set of carpets, a few sets of window channels going on eBay soon and MY personal 'universal' hub extractor, along with dozens of spares I shall now no longer need some of which are in the spares for sale on here others that need to be catalogued and advertised. If there is anything you particularly want then email me I may have it ?

ALL parts are offered on a 'Make me an OFFER' basis so as long as its reasonable to both of us we can no doubt deal.

Thanks for all the help and support in the past and I have enjoyed the +2 over the last 4 years but times move on.

It would be great to see some of you and your cars for a blather and a couple of Guinness in Ireland if ever you get over.

Cheers for now

What shame you're leaving the throng Peter.
I very much appreciated the effort you made to get those dasboard letters produced.
Any good sea fishing in your area :)
All the best.

Sorry to hear you're leaving too Peter :(

But,.. you haven't by any chance got a screen rubber for a 1970 Plus 2 in your treasure trove have you (the one which accepts the stainless cover trim)?
