Does anyone know how to program one?

I assume the big button is for swapping between pre-stored channels but, how do you store them in the first place?

dont you tune the station then pull the knob out then push all the way back in....think youve got 4 or 5 channels that it remembers......so do it 4 or 5 times......
at least that what I seem to remember......its been a while since Ive had one.....

You press the big button until you get the channel number you want. Then you just tune the radio to the station you want - and that's it. Do that for each channel and every time you press the big button it will cycles through all the stations you have set up.

Easy.
