I am gutted I managed to miss the parade..... too busy eating donuts to hear if any announcement was made over the speakers..... Great day though, nice to see a few of you there and of course lots of cars! Certainly will do it again!

Beautiful cars! I can't tell you how much I wish I could have flown over and been there. To see so many Plus 2s in one place would make my head spin!

Until seeing two Plus 2s at LOG 37 last weekend, my car was the only Plus 2 that I'd ever seen in the flesh! The two last weekend are the second and third I've ever seen. They were both in really beautiful condition, and had both driven more than a thousand miles to be there. Plus 2s are exceptionally rare here in the States, even among Loti. I wonder how many we have over here.

Was that the "desert elite" from California? with an A4 story on the windscreen?

What a great day!!!
I enjoyed seeing all your cars but wish I'd met more of you, we spent too much time on track, just short of 100 miles! So on top of a 500+ mile trip down from Scotland, the car did well. Only fault was with the brake light switch, thanks John for your assistance with the fix.
I never thought I would see so many Plus 2's together, they just kept on coming! Nearly 50 I gather. And I never thought I would see a Plus 2 traffic jam!!

Thanks Elseezed for posting up the track pics, that's my son at the wheel (blue car) testing my nervous system. It was great to get a feel of the car on track, unfortunately the greenstuff pads only lasted three laps at a time before we had to back off for a cool down to get some braking back again.

I'm so glad we went . Thoroughly enjoyable track day & the White Hart at Ford was so good we want to go again next year . Nice meeting you all .
I've only an iphone and think i have a way to go before I master the art of taking videos when in the passenger seat with it  but here's my attempt during the parade laps commemorating 50th anniversary of the +2 launch ...
thankfully we weren't going very fast .............. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q8vJ47tzOw&sns=em

A few more I've found, although Johns got most of em! (All +2's) what was the final count on the day?

42 on the parade laps plus another 9 left behind in the parking area so we managed to exceed the magic 50.

Someone mentioned that approximately 10% of all +2s in the UK were at Combe on Saturday.
