Perfect. I live between Sydenham Hill and Gypsy Hill stations. Let me know if you are at Brands tomorrow (I'll be there with my Tawny/White Sprint on the show and shine section) and we can have a chat. Alternatively, I'll be at the Edenbridge car show next weekend with the +2.

Well that's couldn't be better! I'm on holiday for a week but will be at the Edenbridge show, we have a stand there, Lingfield Classics. If the weather is fine I'll be there with my MGA, MGB V8 & Midget. I'll see you at the show! Look forward to meeting you.

I was at the Kirkcudbright (SW Scotland) car show last weekend and there was a lovely MGB V8 in the not so seen colour of midnight blue. Quite mouthwatering when I asked the owner to open the hood to show the engine. I may be helping Richard out with the show and shine at Edenbridge. See you there.

I'm not surprised, you're probably in the rf shadow of the mast.
I was considering entering the A in SnS, I've never done so before as I build my cars for me, not for others to judge, but maybe this time I might. Any words of wisdom for a teetering on the edge entrant?

I haven't discussed the criteria with Richard yet but it is highly likely that originality won't come into play. It is more about presentation so the better the preparation the better the chance. I believe you have to enter the S and S in advance of the day.

Now now Andy, no cheating! Although you can always bribe the head judge.
Bring the A, See you on the 10th

It's getting closer Ian, I collect the trailer on the 15th and leave the village at 4am on the 16th. I hope to be on the farm in North Devon by 10am, loaded by 2pm and home by 9pm. I'll need to drop the trailer back on the Sunday morning and then the grand unveiling can take place. Expect a description and copious photos by the Monday.
I also have a web site that I'll be updating on a regular basis, Google for MG-heaven for petrolheads related waffle and the restoration of my MGA.
