I look at Lotus the way I look at my 3 (adult) children...I love them all equally...but I do have my favourite.! :D :D :D :D

I've told you, make yourself a sheepskin seat cover. Warm in winter, cool in summer.

I'm not putting sheepskin covers on my seats because I don't want my friends to start calling me "Huggy Bear". Plus, it's not the 70's any more.

In the late 1960s the Ford works Team were sponsored by the Wool Board for their Lotus Cortina entries in the London Sydney Marathon. They used wool-covered rally seats, and talking with one of the drivers a couple of years ago, he claimed they were the most comfy seats he had ever sat in! That is saying something, considering they were travelling over Australia in the middle of summer! Their overalls were also made from wool, which again, were very comfy, even in the heat.

Can't help some bug*ers. Stop moaning about getting sticky then! Anyway it is not a sheepskin cover.
It's a hand made , artisan designed, comfort blanket. And an example of recycling, so therefore very topical.

Colonel "Bat" Guano : I think you're some kind of deviated prevert. I think General Ripper found out about your preversion, and that you were organizing some kind of mutiny of preverts.

Regarding the Cortina seats, I think the shape of them had much to do with comfort, and the custom fitted wooden upholstery looks smart.

Compared to... https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0209/ ... 1511891911

..which looks a bit too aftermarket for my tastes.

That would be a bit hard, could go a bit against the grain. Still, no sweat.
