Radiator doesn't fit?

Looked fine - never thought there would be a height issue. Closed the bonnet / hood, and the radiator cap punched a crack in the bonnet. Either the rad is too tall or the pre-drilled holes are in the wrong place.

and there's the rub.. You didn't check it because it looked right! Under bonnet clearance is an issue anyway and you could have easily placed some plasticine on it and close gently to check but no - it looked right. If you wanted to claim compensation from me you'd be getting a very short answer. Paul Matty is a very decent bloke and will I'm sure be a lot more diplomatic than me. I'm afraid there's only one party at fault here and that's you - trying to put your own blame on Matty is IMHO just wrong.
What else on the car looks right but actually isn't?
